Here is another project.I was looking for something to make
for a Gift and found this picture.I thought the octagon top was

unusual and made a nice looking piece.
I drew up a print in my CAD software to get dimensions and scale.
This is the final product. The wood is Quarter-Sawn Oak.
It was a challenge to figure out the scale and details of the jointery from a fuzzy picture. Plus the gift was a hit.
